Hello from Nashville! I'm down here celebrating my friend Ali's bachelorette party, and I am loving it here! I mean, what's not to like? Hot chicken, country music, and a chance to finally wear my cowboy boots! Plus, yesterday we did a Pedal Tavern, which is my new favorite thing. Biking around town still counts as exercise even if you're drinking the whole time, right?! Well... at least it's more exercise-like than SITTING and drinking! While I head to brunch, check out the things I'm loving this week!
These avocado pickles. I am half curious, half grossed out by this concept... but you better believe I'm going to try it!
This "Good and Cheap" cookbook. I'm so in awe of the woman who wrote this cookbook tailored to people with a strict budget - particularly those on SNAP/food stamps, but also people with limited budgets like students. What an amazing idea, and the food looks great! Plus, the online version is free, but if you buy the hard copy, they give a copy to a family in need!
This easy fondue. I know it's basically just baked brie, but something about calling it fondue makes it seem like a much more acceptable dinner. Plus, that picture looks amaaaaaazing.
These chicken and avocado ranch burritos. This time of year always makes me crave Tex Mex, and those burritos are right up my alley!
This bug spray. Totally unrelated to food, but I'm heading to Barbados on Monday for Jessica's wedding, so I did a ton of research on the best bug sprays to keep the Zika-carrying mosquitos away. This one consistently came up as one of the best, so I've got three bottles on the way from Amazon! Keep it in mind if you're heading anywhere tropical!
