I am so excited to share some big news in the CKDC world - we're upgrading to a bigger kitchen! We had no plans to move any time soon, but, as I do when I'm bored, I was checking out Padmapper to scope out the available apartments in our area and found this gorgeous kitchen. I loved it so much I sent the inquiry email before I even saw the rest of the photos! The rooftop pool doesn't hurt either.... But don't worry, CKDC will be just as chaotic - I'm afraid the tiny kitchen was only a small part of that equation! Check out some of the other things I'm obsessed with this week:
This chicken parm pasta skillet recipe. I've never thought to use frozen breaded chicken breasts in chicken parm, but it seems like such a time saver! And, you know what's even better than chicken breast? CHICKEN NUGGETS! Hmmm.....
This honeycomb candy recipe. There's an ice cream in New Zealand called hokey pokey and it has honeycomb candy in it and it is the best ice cream I've ever had. Tim and I stopped at every ice cream store we saw on our drive across the South Island, and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. This recipe is just getting me one step closer to making hokey pokey on my own! Side note: does anyone know of a place that sells it in the US....? I have been Google searching to no avail.
This chilaquiles recipe. Say it with me: breakfast nachos. BREAKFAST. NACHOS.
These freezer breakfast sandwiches. I don't think I ever actually stop craving breakfast sandwiches... I think I just am so used to the craving that it's become a baseline feeling. How magical would it be to have breakfast sandwiches available to you whenever you wanted?! Plus, vegetables = healthy.
This buffalo chicken celery sticks recipe. Move over, ants on a log! This is genius. I always make buffalo chicken dip for the Super Bowl (Superbowl? SuperBowl? #sports) and serve it with celery sticks. This version is so fun!
