Aaaand it's officially wedding season! This summer is going to be insane with many of my best friends getting married, and the insanity has officially begun. Today I head straight from Viv's shower in DC to the train station, where I'll take a train to NYC for tomorrow's shower for Ali. Then, after a week hanging out with my soon-to-be-Australian friend Brooke, the wedding celebrations begin for my lifelong friend Kelly and her super awesome fiancé Andrew. With Kir's (of Kir2Ben fame!) wedding in Charlottesville the weekend after, I am already ready for a long nap and a big glass of wine - and it hasn't even started yet! It's completely exhausting, but what's more fun that celebrating your best friends with your other best friends? While I have some champagne and toast to Viv, check out what I'm loving this week:
This list of words that make talking about wine easier. Yes. Please. I need this. While I love writing Wine Wednesday posts (and drinking the wines that go into them!), I'd love to be able really sound like I know what I'm talking about.
This Mother's Day gift guide. Am I the only one who loves gift guides? Probably because I love the cutesy things that go into them anyway. Don't forget, Mother's Day is next weekend!
The Pioneer Woman's restaurant style salsa recipe. Tim is a salsa monster. Every week I have to buy at least two large bottles of salsa (that I hardly get to eat), and even that's usually not enough. If anyone would appreciate a good homemade salsa, it's that guy!
This Mexican garlic soup recipe. I really can't decide if I think this would be good or not, but I love garlic and I love soup, so you know I'm going to try it!
This book discount website. BookBub emails you every day about any Kindle books in your selected categories that are on sale. I just have best sellers selected because they can send some pretty random ones for other categories, but you can pick from a big range of categories to make sure you only get what you're interested in! Most of the books I get are usually only a dollar or two.
