Helloooo from my five year college reunion! It's so crazy to think that I've officially been out of college longer than I was actually in it - take me back! But actually, the best part of school was my friends (and Alivia's), so I could not be happier to spend a few days with them. Naturally, we've had all of our meals picked out and booked for months! Durham may get a bad rap, but it has some of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Sushi Love, Parker and Otis, Tyler's, WaDuke, Nosh, Pops (RIP), Foster's.... Excuse me while I go check Zillow for houses in Durham. While I do that, why don't you check out the things I'm loving this week:
This variation of chicken picatta. This is on the menu for next week with a few adjustments (can you say bacon?) and I am prettttty excited about it.
This cost comparison of groceries and meal kits. I always assumed meal kits like Blue Apron or Hello Fresh were way more expensive than just buying the ingredients at the store, but maybe I was wrong!
This Kiehl's hand cream. Even using rubber gloves, washing dishes by hand every day dries out my skin and keeps me playing catch up when it comes to soft hands. This is the first hand cream I've found that really works long-term and isn't just a quick fix.
This list of podcast suggestions. Podcasts kept me sane on my hour and a half roundtrip commute when I was teaching, and I still love them for long car rides or my daily metro rides. I'm adding these to my list!
This salad dressing infographic. I always want to make my own dressings, but I'm never sure what the proportions should be. This makes it easy!
