I had a much longer post written out but my blog ate it... twice! So please forgive me, I just can't bring myself to write it a third time. Long story short, Kelly and Andrew's wedding last weekend was SO fun and I think I just recovered... just in time for Kir and Ben's wedding tonight! Gotta love wedding season! Fingers crossed that the weather holds out!
Kelly was the most relaxed bride I have ever seen. Case in point - after we steamed her dress and Kelly put it on half an hour before we were supposed to head out for photos, she realized that the steam somehow lengthened the chiffon and the dress was too long to comfortably walk in. So she turned to her mom and said, "Mom, chop it off!" And she did! You haven't lived until you've seen a mother of the bride take scissors to her daughter's wedding dress. And, since I would never deprive you, here's a photo of that beautiful moment! Check it out, and check out the things I'm loving this week!
These blueberry glazed doughnut muffins. I need these in my life immediately - definitely making them tomorrow when I get back from Charlottesville!
This article on what age is too young to start drinking coffee. True story - my pediatrician told my parents to have me drink a cup of coffee every day when I was growing up. I'm still not entirely sure what the reasoning was, but I have a feeling the author of this article would not have agreed!
These pizzettes. These look so easy and so good. I'd trash it up a little and add some cheese and pepperoni. Mini pizzas!
This chart showing how to make half a recipe. Super helpful for people only cooking for one or two!
These mustard-crusted potatoes. Taking roasted potatoes to a whole new level!
