Hello from my couch, which I'm pretty sure now has a nice, permanent Steph-shaped indent! I've been laid up on the couch almost all week with some casual summer pneumonia, which has given me a whole lot of time on the internet! Before I share some of my findings with you, I wanted to tell you all about one of the coolest parts of Matt and Jess's wedding in Barbados last weekend. When the couple traveled to Thailand the week after they got engaged, they saw those beautiful Thai lanterns that people light, let fill, and float off into the sky. Naturally, they had to have them for their wedding! I don't know how they managed this, but they ended up coming home with a hundred of these amazing lanterns, which they invited their guests to light and send off over the Caribbean Sea. It was so beautiful, and such a special touch - no surprise, coming from those two! Enjoy the pic of our experience above (hey, Mr. Green!), and check out what I'm loving this week.
This textile jewelry. I think this is such a beautiful way to preserve a part of your or a loved one's wedding dress and I want all of my married friends to do it! Come on guys, there are 11 of you this summer alone, as least one of you has to do it!
This lobster cobb salad recipe. Cobb salad is one of my favorites, and you can never go wrong with adding lobster to anything!
These slow cooker brat and burger sauces. Such a fun way to jazz up a barbeque!
This Thai chicken noodle soup. I made this for dinner last night, and I swear it did just as much good as the antibiotics! A fun twist on the feel-good classic.
This honey butter shrimp recipe. I am on SUCH a seafood kick right now, and these look amazing. Putting them on the menu for next week!
